Redesign the penny? Really? At one time, you could buy candy for a penny. Now, you're lucky to get it for a quarter. So instead of taking the honest Abe copper out of circulation, the US Mint opted for a redesign…of the back, that is. Eighteen designs were narrowed down to one. Was it the right one?
