Went snowboarding at the Red Bull Snake Run. Had to partake in the WUSR (Washed Up Still Riding) Division Method contest. My photo landed on the blog of snowboard wordwoman Mary Walsh, then I pushed it along to my friend, fellow competitor and AA Sponsor, Ron Faverty from Rome SDS. So go over and check out "Quick Hits". The photo would have been better if Mary didnt have to Photoshop me back into the frame. I was at least quadruple that height. Regardless. Days like that, friends & methods, are why I snowboard.

Cards For My Friend Josh

One of my favorite snowboarders to share the mountain with, Josh Vigeant, passed away Sunday. He was enjoying a early season shred session at Cannon Mountain, NH with a few friends and was involved in a fatal accident.

Josh had this natural style that was just amazing to watch. It was effortless and classic. His method's in the Loon pipe and backside 180's in Waterville's park are something I will never forget along with his constant smile and positive attitude. My turns are dedicated to him now.

Above are a collection of remembrance cards that I have created to be given out at his service, Thursday, Dec. 23, in Raymond, NH. Now we can all carry these cards in our jackets, wallets, tackle box, etc. and Josh will always be with us, shredding, fishing, laughing and smiling.

30 Years Of Waiting

The culmination of all of my 30 years brought me to this place. Over the past 6 days, I've said this about a hundred times, "I must have done something right to be right here, right now." Not to get sentimental, but it was a trip inspire and relax. Book a flight. Take a sketchy van ride. Eat a lot of jerk and the most amazing calamari that I have ever had.
Side note about the image: After sitting here and watching dolphins swim across the sea, Erin watched me jump off this 30' cliff into the crystal blue water. Amazing.

Buried Time Capsule

My Apple arrogance took a serious blow. I showed up for work and my Apple Time Capsule, which seemed to work seamlessly, showed no signs of life. After a bit of research, the typical problem with these external drives, are that they just all of a sudden die around the 18 month mark. Mine lasted 19. I found some help. This movement gave Apple a good kick in the ass. Since most of the issues occurred when the Time Capsule was out of warranty. Well this little petition gained steam and forced Apple to provide assistance.

I called Apple. Told them my problem. Now I have a new Time Capsule, 3 days after my call. Thanks Apple.
